About Us
Eileen Mullen,
having
been born and raised on a homestead in Alaska, Eileen brings true
Alaska hospitality and a vast knowledge of the area to her guests.
Owning and Operating Island Watch for over 15 years, Eileen loves
bringing her guests the very best Alaskan experience.
Formerly a commercial fisherwoman in Cook Inlet and Prince William
Sound, Eileen now combines pleasure boating with her life as
vacation rental hostess. She enjoys people as well as gardening
and hiking. Other interests include travel and horses.
Also on the
team we have two exceptional women:
Melanie
Green, who has great organizational skills and technical
skills. She is a quick thinker and trouble shooter. She plays a
challenging game of scrabble. Melanie is drawn to Homer, Alaska
during the summer because of family, some of whom live across
Kachemak Bay in a remote village. She has also been willingly
adopted into Eileen's family. One thing we know about Melanie is
when the snow starts flying, so will she. Melanie winters in
Bisbee, Arizona where she is a business consultant.
Connie
Woolfolk, the cleaner and task master. She is shore support
for her husband's commercial fishing business; confidant to her
two grown children and best friend to her granddaughter, Jordan.
Connie takes over the working business in the winter when Eileen
travels. And she's a germ buster! They don't have a chance of
survival when Connie enters the room.
