About Us

Having been born and raised on a homestead in Alaska, Eileen Mullen brings true Alaska hospitality and a vast knowledge of the area to her guests.  Owning and Operating Island Watch for over 15 years, Eileen loves bringing her guests the very best Alaskan experience.  Formerly a commercial fisherwoman in Cook Inlet and Prince William Sound, Eileen now combines pleasure boating with her life as vacation rental hostess. She enjoys people as well as gardening and hiking. Other interests include travel and horses.

Bob Wood brings his knowledge of gardening, an artist's eye, and love of the land to the property by planting and nurturing lovely organic vegetables and flowers. You can walk through the garden and enjoy the beauty while visiting Homer, Alaska.  Bob's other hobbies are photography and fishing and camping.
