Island Watch Vacation House & The Garden Cabin

vacation home

This beautiful property is situated on West Hill, overlooking Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountain Range in Homer Alaska.

Located on one acre of land, this is a favorite among visitors to Homer with many groups returning year after year. The property is flanked by adult spruce, alder, and flower gardens. Eagles, ravens, sand hill cranes are common visitors along with the occasional moose. A large fenced pasture creates a grand sense of space and allows the eye to take in the full view. The famous Homer Spit and Harbor are a short 10 minute drive. Bishops beach, the museum, art galleries, and shopping are five minutes away making it easy to leave your day plans open to unforeseen adventures. If you prefer to walk, a 20 minute stroll along a trail of wildflowers will lead you right into downtown Homer.

Island Watch House has enough beds to accommodate up to nine people. The Garden Cabin can sleep three. Guests can reserve either the house or the cabin or both. A three night minimum stay is expected in the large house, but can be waived in lieu of a short stay fee.
